About Kreative Solutions Group
The Group was set up in 2001 by local people who wanted to use the skills and experiences that local people had to find solutions to issues affecting them.
The Group achieves this by adopting the following six step model of community development:
Services provided by Kreative Solutions Group

Undertaking Research
The group can design and carry out research into community needs and participation.
Training
The Group has a number of experienced trainers who can deliver a range of training to communities or organisational staff. The training covers:- Conducting Equality Impact Assessments - The Group can deliver half or full day training on how to embed Equality Impact Assessments within day to day practices.
- Mainstreaming equality and diversity diagnostic - The Group can undertake a one day external 'critical friend' challenge to assess how well your organisation is mainstreaming equality and diversity.
- Introduction to diversity - This training can be either half or full day and covers the main diversity legislation and examples of good practice
- Sports leadership training - The Group can deliver training for staff or volunteers to become sports leaders.
Community Involvement
The Group can work with any organisation to assist them to engage with communities in order to ensure adequate levels of involvement.
The Group has a number of skilled community involvement practitioners who can work with organisations to map out what their requirements are and are able to carry out small or large pieces of work.
Capacity Building
The group can assist community groups to improve their governance and organisational skills.
Project Management
The group can manage a community based project with a defined timescale and which involves delivering agreed outputs and outcomes
